Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Here are some of the most common questions asked
How often should I have my Gutters Cleaned?
We recommend 2x per year on avg. Once in the spring after the pollen and seeds fall and then in the fall after the leaves come down.
Do you clean the downspouts?
YES! After we scoop all the big stuff, and brush the small stuff, then we follow through with either the hose or blower to make sure the downspouts are clear.
Do I need to be home?
No, you do not need to be home.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We also accept cash or checks.
Do you install gutter covers?
Over the years we have discovered what product we believe works best to buy time in between cleanings. No gutter cover, filter, or cap will be an end all be all to gutter maintenance.
Do you offer regular service plan?
Yes, we preschedule you during high demand times of year, according to the types of trees you have surrounding your house.
Do I have to prepay for the service plan?
No, but we offer that as an option with a little more of a discount.

DO I NEED MR. GREEN?
2 Simple steps to see if your gutters or downspouts are clogged
To accomplish this without pulling out a ladder, walk around the outside of the house looking up at the gutters from underneath for discoloration. This can indicate water running over the lip of the gutter and down the face of the gutter. Then walk around again looking down at the ground under the gutters for soil or mulch washed out around the foundation. That can indicate the water is running over the lip of the gutter and wearing a hole into the ground. If the gutter is over the driveway or a walkway, look for discoloration on the surface below.
- Walk around the outside of the house looking up at gutters.
- Walk around the outside of the house looking down at the ground.
- Repeat with the change of every season.
Most homeowners dismiss their gutters until it is too late and wind up suffering the consequences. In most cases you should do this procedure 4 times per year. That does not necessarily mean a cleaning is required, but keep an eye on them. You do not know what may clump up in your spouts: tennis balls, birds’ nests, a stick, roofing sediment, seeds in the spring, and leaves in the fall. Check them quarterly for proper flow during rain and expect to need a cleaning 1-2 times per year.
